We're Gonna Groove, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Bring it on Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Thank You, What is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick
Page goes into the lead-in to the bow solo too early during Dazed and Confused, causing a bit of confusion until he rights himself for the next verse. Heartbreaker retains its new echo-heavy intro, it sounds like the launch sequence of some sort of alien spacecraft. There are a couple cuts near the end of White Summer/Black Mountain Side. Jones's bass pedals cause some distortion during Thank You. There is quite a bit of talking going on around the taper throughout the show. The recording ends about twenty minutes into a marathon Moby Dick.
The tape is muffled, hissy, and distant with some distortion at times.

ReplyDeleteMuddy recording, bass, drums and guitar sorta blend together into background noise. Plant can be heard, but there's no warmth or depth to the recording. Show starts with We're Gonna Groove and Dazed and Confused. Heartbreaker is next, by now I'm either use to the sound, or things are a bit cleaner. The guitar/harmonica part of Bring It On Home is a bit soft sounding at times. White Summer shines as usual, which leads to Since I've Been Loving You and Thank You. Quite a bit of talking during the start of Thank You, and the bass overloads the recording at times. What Is and What Should Never Be is next, followed by Moby Dick, which is where the recording ends. Overall not the worst to listen to, soft and a bit muddy, but turn it up a bit and the music can be heard. Listened while working, so mostly in the background.
